Assistant Adminstrator Wins CALA 'Outstanding Department Director'!

A big congratulations to Carol Pegg, our assistant administrator and marketing director. Carol was nominated for and won the Colorado Assisted Living Association (CALA) Excellence in Service Award for Outstanding department Director!

The judges were looking for someone who has gone above and beyond in demonstrating their exceptional commitment to Colorado's Assisted Living residents through their role by demonstrating a commitment to self-betterment, example setting, excellence in meeting the needs of their staff and their adult population, and exemplify the CALA values of:

People in need of assistance and their right to make choices

Our members and their calling to missions of service

Our employees and volunteers and the informal networks of family, friends and neighbors who support them

Accountability to our communities

Carol has a warm, caring nature and all our residents and staff love and appreciate her. She puts the needs of others first, and is an inspiration her family, friends, and the staff.

Carol joined our Park Regency staff at the end of November 2007. Prior to coming to Park Regency, Carol worked in residential property management, where she worked for 12 years in both Denver and in Longmont. Before that she spent 10 years working in the jewelry industry. Many years back, she taught preschool and at one time ran her own business from home. Carol lives in Loveland with her husband and they have been blessed with eight grandchildren. Their 10-year-old grandson lives with them. Five of their other grandchildren live just around the corner from them. Their other two grandchildren live much further away in Nebraska. Carol truly enjoys her time here at Park Regency. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting afghans, sewing, and baking cookies and cakes for all of her grandchildren, family, and friends.
